MARIANO'S BLOOMING AGRI-TOURISM PARK

Who can resist taking selfie with these sunflowers?

They schedule the planting of sunflowers so that there will always be sunflowers in full bloom all year round. Aside from sunflowers there are other attractions as Mariano's Blooming Agri-Tourism Park like vegetable gardens and birds.

ASIA'S HIGHEST ZIPLINE

We tried the highest zipline in Southeast Asia! This 1.1 km zipline divided into two segments starting from Falls Number 1 to Falls Number 5, and from Falls Number 5 to Falls Number 2.

The photogenic Falls number 2 or Hikong Bente, the tallest among the seven falls

We trekked down here to see the waterfall up close. The rock wall is just as pretty, too!

The lush greenery gives every visitor a relaxing feeling.

Here's the video of the thrilling zipline ride:

LAKE CRUISE AT PUNTA ISLA RESORT

After a thrilling zip line adventure at the highest zipline in Southeast Asia at Seven Falls, Lake Sebu, we took our lunch at the Lake Cruise of Punta Isla Resort. It was a complete experience -- gastronomic, environmental, and cultural immersion.

Going down to the lake side for the cruise.

We were served the famous chicharon tilapia

Another tilapia dish called Pinaputok -- tilapia wrapped in banana leaves with all the spices inside

Pinakbet

Locals who belong to the Tboli ethnoliguistic group provide entertainment with their traditional music and dances.

The tour guide is entertaining. His jokes are really funny.

A day or two in Lake Sebu can really be worth the while. You can visit their tourism office and ask about affordable accommodations and homestays.

A Journey to Tinaca Point, the Southernmost Tip of Mainland Mindanao

There's an undiscovered paradise further down south of Sarangani Province in Brgy. Batulaki, Glan, Sarangani Province. I have visited it recently and fell in love with it the moment I caught a first glimpse of it. We went to Tinaca Point, where the Philippine Navy Littoral Monitoring Station is located. There stands an old lighthouse and it showed us a great view of Celebes Sea, the coastline of Southern Sarangani, and of Balut Island in Davao Occidental. GETTING THERE From Poblacion Glan, we took a government vehicle to Barangay Batulaki, the last barangay of the Municipality of Glan. It took about about an hour and a half of road trip in order to get there. For those who wish to visit the place, coordination with municipal tourism office is advised. You must also communicate with the Punong Barangay (Chairman). The long stretch of beach grayish in Batulaki is a beauty in itself.
