Jollibee and DreamWorks Bring Filipino Friendship to Life in ‘Forgotten Island’ Campaign

A new DreamWorks animated film with Filipino-inspired mythology is getting a special Jollibee treatment—and yes, there’s Chickenjoy, Peach Mango Pie, and a collectible involved. Jollibee Philippines is teaming up with DreamWorks Animation for the local campaign of Forgotten Island , an upcoming animated adventure about two best friends who find themselves in a mysterious world filled with mythical creatures drawn from stories rooted in their Filipino heritage. But the collaboration isn't stopping at movie posters and promotional materials. Starting this September, fans can get their hands on the limited-time Forgotten Island Adventure Bundle at participating Jollibee stores nationwide. I know that we are already in the age of social media, but to a lot of people, my home island remains a war zone, a no man's land. To them, Mindaoans remain to be uncivilized, barbaric, and uneducated.
