Camella Trails Gensan: Another Property Development in the Tuna Capital

I can't help but feel a burst of hometown pride as Camella unveils its latest project, Camella Trails Gensan, in the vibrant Tuna Capital of the Philippines. The recent launch event, named "Infinity," gathered locals, officials, and investors to witness the exciting addition to our growing house and lot investment portfolio.

I am glad to have been invited to the unveiling of Camella Trails GenSan at the Grand Summit Hotel, General Santos City.

Vista Land’s Chief Operating Officer, Jerylle Luz Quismundo, set the tone for the evening, sharing valuable investment insights and shedding light on the future plans for our beloved city. The event was graced by local officials, including Vice Mayor Rosalita Nunez and Chief of City Investment Ellorence Cruz, alongside the enthusiastic presence of local business partners, bank officers, and eager property seekers.

The night came alive with dazzling performances from Step One Creative Arts and the Legendary Fire Artists, setting the stage for Tawag ng Tanghalan contender John Van Lapu and local talent Preshel Joy Gumaghan to serenade us. The highlight? A successful culmination with a substantial number of investors placing their bets on Camella Trails Gensan.

The Heart of Progress: General Santos City

General Santos City, our bustling and highly urbanized home, holds a special place as the "Tuna Capital of the Philippines." With its rich fishing industry and a population of approximately 700,000, it's no wonder it's considered the 15th most populous city in our beautiful country. The city's vibrancy extends beyond its maritime prowess, boasting diverse industries that contribute to its status as the commercial and entertainment center of the SOCCSKSARGEN region.

Camella's Enduring Legacy

In 2009, Camella took a leap of faith in our city with the introduction of its first house and lot community, Camella Gensan. Inspired by the vision of Vistaland’s Founder and Chairman Manuel “Manny” Villar, Camella Gensan brought a touch of Spanish-themed Mediterranean living to our thriving community. Today, Camella Gensan proudly stands alongside two other flourishing communities: Camella Cerritos Gensan and the much-anticipated Camella Trails Gensan.

Camella Trails Gensan: A Promising Horizon

Camella Trails Gensan, the newest addition to our landscape, spans seven hectares of Spanish-Mediterranean charm along Nursery Road, Barangay Katangawan. Positioned strategically near the city’s main road, the National Highway, via NLSA road, this development promises easy access to educational institutions, upcoming projects like the University of Philippines in Gensan, the soon-to-rise Allied Medical Center, commercial strips, and various dining and entertainment hubs.

What's exciting is the array of home options offered by Camella Trails Gensan, catering to the diverse needs of families and investors. From two-bedroom townhomes to five-bedroom two-storey house-and-lots, this community ensures a place for everyone. The Camella Home Series—Arielle, Criselle, Ezabelle, Frielle, Cara, and Freya—offers diverse floor plans, making it a perfect fit for our diverse community.

As a local, I can't help but appreciate the gated community concept of Camella Trails Gensan, complemented by family-oriented lifestyle amenities and security features. A clubhouse, swimming pool area, open spaces, and more—it's not just homes; it's a promise of a holistic neighborhood within the Camella property.

A Journey to Tinaca Point, the Southernmost Tip of Mainland Mindanao

There's an undiscovered paradise further down south of Sarangani Province in Brgy. Batulaki, Glan, Sarangani Province. I have visited it recently and fell in love with it the moment I caught a first glimpse of it. We went to Tinaca Point, where the Philippine Navy Littoral Monitoring Station is located. There stands an old lighthouse and it showed us a great view of Celebes Sea, the coastline of Southern Sarangani, and of Balut Island in Davao Occidental. GETTING THERE From Poblacion Glan, we took a government vehicle to Barangay Batulaki, the last barangay of the Municipality of Glan. It took about about an hour and a half of road trip in order to get there. For those who wish to visit the place, coordination with municipal tourism office is advised. You must also communicate with the Punong Barangay (Chairman). The long stretch of beach grayish in Batulaki is a beauty in itself. From there you can see Balut Island, which is part of  the Municipality of Sarangani in Da
