Meanwhile, Rhea Lorrain Tecson from BPI’s Agency Banking team dove into the world of digital financial literacy and cybersecurity, guiding participants on safe online banking practices and how to keep their personal data secure.

“This initiative shows just how committed we are to financial education,” said Elena Torrijos, BPI’s Head of Public Affairs. “By teaming up with LGUs and other key organizations, we’re empowering more Filipinos—especially our frontliners—to take control of their financial future.”

This GenSan session is one of many efforts by BPI to meet the country’s diverse financial literacy needs. The bank is continuously working to create lasting partnerships with government institutions to ensure financial education becomes a widespread, long-term mission. From public servants to small business owners, BPI’s goal is simple: to uplift every Filipino and help them secure their financial futures.

As BPI celebrates its 173rd anniversary this year, the bank stays true to its mission of fostering a financially empowered society through strategic partnerships and educational programs. It’s all part of BPI’s vision to build a better Philippines—one family, one community at a time.
